Department of Transportation and Development has current road closure information

LA Swift: an emergency bus service is designed to transport displaced New Orleans-area residents with no transportation from Baton Rouge to New Orleans and back for jobs, job searches, and similar recovery efforts. LA Swift has been extended and will continue running through February 28, 2006.
